Who am I ?
I should introduce myself as an author and tell you something about me.
Who am I? Where do I come from? What drives me to write?

Though, I ask myself whether it is so important. What counts more, the author or his story? In my opinion, the story should always come first, not the person behind it. But it's often the other way round: people read books by well-known authors regardless of whether they are worth it. For me, however, the book and its storytelling should take centre stage. I was reading books written by unknown authors that I found wonderful, and they moved me to tears. I had also read books by well-known authors that were, from my point of view, not worth it at all.
Therefore, I decided not to talk about myself but about the reasons that motivated me to write. I want the readers to decide for themselves whether they like my stories without being burdened by who or what I am.

I like reading because it helps me escape from a dreary day, from the unpleasant reality. Every book is a different story, another life, a distinct world. A well-written book allows a reader with a little imagination to be, for a while, someone else; a severely disabled person can walk again, an unattractive man or woman can be beautiful and desirable, and an old man is suddenly young once again. Books can bring happiness, give us joy and hope, they help us to forget.

However, there is one limitation. When reading a book, the reader becomes involved in its events but has no influence on the outcome of the written story. They are dependent on the course of the individual events presented to them by the writer, but they cannot influence them, even if they would like to do it from time to time.

As an author, however, I have the possibility to spin a story according to my own imagination and create my own world, just as I desire, as I wish. That's why I became a writer. I enjoy writing down the dreams and stories that buzz around in my head, making them a kind of reality. When I write a book, the events pass in front of my mind's eye as if I were experiencing them myself.

That is the difference between an author and a reader.

With my books, I would like to share my tales and my imagination with those who do not have the gift to write their own stories, giving them the opportunity to immerse themselves in my world, if not in their own. Perhaps some of you will enjoy my storytelling, regardless of whether you know anything about me as an author or not.
